NEWTON 2083
Earth has suffered climatic consequences. The world’s oceans have dried up, leaving only sear terrain behind. Majority of Earth’s population has left the planet in order to find a more suitable ecosphere. As the globe dries up, tectonic movements destroy majority of cites.
What remains of Nottingham’s once green, prosperous and water-soaked skin, becomes a landscape of droughty sandstone with the city decaying: crumbling into the depths of the Earth’s core.
Nottingham Trent University’s Newton building has become the sole shelter of refuge for the remaining dwellers of our former civilisation, acting as a beacon of optimism.
